BARBERTON---William Manley Eagle Jr. passed away on January 27, 2021 at the age of 68. He was born August 31, 1952 in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Barberton High School in 1971.
After marrying Roxie (Perdue) Eagle on August 24, 1985, her children fulfilled Bill’s greatest wish of having a family of his own. Their children included Christopher Wiles, Wendy (James) Ray of Barberton, OH, Krista (Andrew) Overby of Belton, SC, and six grandchildren.
Bill is survived by wife Roxie Eagle and siblings Robert Eagle and Jeannette Tenney. He was proceeded in death by parents William M. Eagle Sr. and Gloria (Thomas) and stepson Christopher Wiles.
Bill was employed at B&C Machine and Accuride working as a purchasing agent. Bill and Roxie resided in Barberton and enjoyed camping, thrift stores, and garage sales. His willingness to repair anything mechanical was always immediately offered with a patient smile. Bill never hesitated to go out of his way to help his family. He always looked forward to spending time fishing at his brother’s lake house.

Bill’s Funeral will be held on Monday February 1, 2021, at 7:00 pm at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Visitation from 5-7pm. Private family burial on Tuesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family urges people to donate to Akron General/Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
